Problem with Tactrix OpenPort Logging

I spoke to @steve99 about this as well but was wondering if anyone else had ideas.

I seem to be having an issue where im getting hundreds of tiny logs generated when I try to log with my openport. Steve pointed that its due to a bad connection, I took his advice and tried bending the pins inwords a bit but im still having an issue.

Reading/Flashing tunes does not seem to be an issue, ive never had a hiccup doing either which is why i never assumed a bad connection but its really annoying consolidating logs together. It's easy enough using the command prompt but it messes things up a bit and still requires a little work in excel to get everything proper.

Posting your config file might help.

Remove or comment out the "triggers" they seem to be a problem.

without triggers it will just log when you plug it in and stop when you turn car off or unplug.

ie these lines

;conditionrpn = RPM,0,> action = start
;conditionrpn = RPM,0,== action = stop

I'll give that a try. Thanks Steve!

And that fixed it. Just did about 15 mins of logging and a few pulls and all is good.

Tactrix can be tempermental.
Triggers can make the behaviour odd.
I have taken to having all the parameter addresses in ascending order - may not make a difference, but my OCD feels they work better that way.
Sometimes, the text encoding makes a difference also - I use UTF-8 without BOM.
