Where to buy traction oil for HKS Rotrex S/C?

Is it OK to use Rotrex S/C oil from another label/package?

Anyone suggest a vendor that doesnt charge absurd amounts for the 800 ml bottle of oil?

Again, if the actual supercharger is same model Rotrex, I see no reason it has to be the HKS label.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

I don't know what all the vendors are charging but it is $109.99 on Amazon. Jackson Racing has it for $99.00.

If you want Rotrex Traction fluid, we can send it to you up in CA, but obviously we can't guarantee it'll work for the HKS Supercharger.

That's my concern. Apparently the HKS GTS7460 S/C is not identical to a C30 Rotrex. And of course there is NO info on the web to determine if they can use the same traction oil. I am guessing they work on the same principal with 2 fixed bearings and so on but I dont want to destroy my S/C if I am wrong.

In that case, I'd recommend you use the HKS approved fluid.

Pat

I ordered it on Amazon today then had second thoughts and cancelled the order.
