On the subaru dealer lot, one owner (lease though :()

2014 dark grey BRZ limited, 9/10 shape (I'm picky)

10,500 miles, manual

$23k + tax after a few days of negotiating.

Is it a screaming deal, a good deal, etc?

ryoma 05-25-2015 05:07 PM

that sounds pretty expensive. I got my 2015 brand new for 27k before tax and all of that. yours is an older model PLUS it has 10k miles for only 4k less than what I got for my new one.

These things hold their value like crazy. It's the best deal I've found in a 1,000 mile radius. But you're right, I might as well go new then..

But then do I wait to order a '16? Ugh

Sounds like a solid deal to me...

JoeSubaru 05-25-2015 05:49 PM

I think its a decent deal, if $4k isnt a big deal then go for the new one.

You should be able to get a new one for under $27k. If you have questions - just message me and I will help you out.

How does that price compare to a brand new Premium BRZ? I know the limited has more features, but if the cost of a new Ltd. is out of reach… $23k is just to close to the price of a new BRZ

MileHighBRZ 05-25-2015 06:45 PM

These threads don't help much. Regions have much different car prices/values. A car in Alabama may be a few thousand different from Cali.

With that being said, I bought a 2014 used (3,200) miles, one owner and I paid 25.5 OTD. So your deal would be better then what I got.

My knee keeps hitting the key on the premium, so I "need" the push button start on the limited

Just wanted to make sure it was a good/great price, honestly.

If not, I'll wait and buy new.

I would drive the GTI longer, it's more mature. Wait for another 2 years for the model refresh then find a low mile first gen. Win Win.
