Have these caused any damage to your roofline where the mounts are touching the paint? I know some people are using these for mounting bikes and curious as to what is needed in this setup to be able to mount bicycles on it.

No damage to the roof line or paint. I can see how it could be done if you were not careful putting on the Q clips. The part that touches the paint rests on a giant rubber pad. You would just need the bike adaptor. Which links up to my set up im selling. I could sell you the part you need for half the price and I juyst keep the snowboard part if you dont want it.
