That's exactly how it's going with the headers! And I also keep asking them when they'll do a update so the 2015 FRS can get launch control and they keep telling me they're going to be working on, and that kinda tells me they aren't at all.

They just launched support for the Abarth, so I imagine their tuning focus has been on that recently.

Yeah, think they have moved onto other platforms. Likely has a lot to do with why we still haven't seen the oft350. I know they are working on sport bikes, fiats, r8, and a few other automobiles.

So I guess all of those projects will go down hill cause if they can't keep up with 86 I don't know how they expect to support all these others.

Either way, for me it didn't seem like a massive improvement. The torque dip was smaller, but not worth the 1300 or so it cost me.

i'm telling you that what you got wasn't a custom tune, its just a rom, that may or may not work with your car and mods, in essence, it could be a bit better, a bit worse or just the same as the stock oem tune. if you want to get results, you need to get a custom tune.

oh and ditch the OFH, that thing is no better than a borla header. if you want something good get the tomei uel, jdl uel or if you prefer el look for nameless and hks.

I just called them yesterday. I ordered around the beginning of May. They said I am 12th on the list of 17 headers that should be in in a couple of weeks.

What?! I'm told that I'm order 18 and I'll have a header from the shipment that they are supposedly reciveing this week. I asked them if they don't ship me one this week if I could get my $ back and go figure, no answer.

I wouldn't answer that either. You are threatening to cancel if it doesn't ship exactly when they say. If you don't want the product because it isn't shipping when you want cancel the order. You either accept the conditions of the sale or go somewhere else and wait.

So they can **** me around however much they like? They've given me 3 or more different answers and they're all lies so I just called and canceled.

OP luckily you didn't order when they came out, many of us waited up to 6 months to get them. For the money I have no regrets at all of going with them. Have been a great company and plenty of support. Hopefully your new borla treats you better.

That's it! Businesses have learned the best way to make sales is to knowingly lie to the customer and not send them the product.

Definitely couldn't be a supply issue, because we know everything in life is perfect and always happens according to plan.

Be sure to turn on your sarcasm indicator. I sometimes try to look at it from the vendor's perspective. You have a limited supply coming in that you have little control on the dates other than you know when it shipped from offshore and will get notification when it hits customs. Any delays in the time are unforeseen but your customer wants exact prediction of when it will be in their hands. You give them the an optimistic estimate because giving worst case would freak them out. Now multiply this by the number of customers you have when things start going bad and you have 100s of emails demanding delivery or they will cancel. You have no real control so you are stuck between a unforgiving shipper or customs and a customer with unrealistic expectation of what you actually have control of.

raven1231 06-04-2015 10:55 AM

I'm still really confused because the price increase that happened awhile ago was supposed to be due to "us having a supply of headers on hand so people don't have to wait for shipping"....Doesn't seem like that turned out.
