Real or fake Advan RGII ?
 

So recently I've seen these pop up online, a set of brand new RGII for 1600 tax-in,17x8.5 +45.

The guy confirms me they are genuine, but I have issues believing that. The only thing I though of is that maybe they're reduced because the RGIII came out but I'm really unsure.

Would love if someone could help me figure out if they're genuine, so far most have said the weight of them would be the best way to identify.

And before anyone asks why do I care, simply because I don't like being lied to, if they're replicas I'll get a set that goes for 850 listed as replica ..

They seem legit, price for these listed on Advan are about $420 each. Advan made this size in +48 and the 8" are +45

Also I think they're supposed to come with blue valve caps

Not sure if this is any help but it's a start, 17x9 +22 weight

I'm not finding anywhere that says they made an RGII in 17x8.5 +45, so I'd be skeptical. I'm only finding 8.5's that come in +31, 48, and 50.

If you look closely at the backpad on the 3rd picture it says 17x81/2 and that's a 48 not a 45. The seem legit. Also these are listed at $420 MSRP. Price doesn't seem off.

Sorry about the offset, must be +48. I appreciate all the answers. It's just considering MSRP is 420us, 1600 tax-in CAD dollars seems like a nice, too-good-to-be-true, bargain !

I had the 50+ on my old STI, and the Advan logo on the inner rim was not painted. but everything else looks legit

Maybe I should pony up a bit more and get the RGIII instead ..
