These are only $110 new...why so steep? I'd be interested if it were priced a little better

110 usd, which is 135 cad, plus shipping, plus import duties. Could be closer to 170-200 when its all said and done. Plus that 120 includes shipping to you. Pretty good deal in my eyes. If it was alcantara, I'd have bought it already.
