Bad idea so far

So I have been contemplating making Arashi (Storm in Japanese) look more like a Stormtrooper. So I thought that making some lines more pronounced would do the trick... No way!

This is what it would look like with a 1 inch strip of vinyl:

Any ideas out there for making it look more like a stormtrooper?

Thanks to Joe, this is what I ended up doing"

I taped a tail on my firestorm and some giant plastic wings so it would look more like a dragon!

Would definitely take the vinyl off though if it were me lol

Looks broken.

It's not vinyl. I placed some gaffer's tape to see what it would look like. I am not investing until I know it will work ;-)

My design computer is down, so I'm using my wife's computer with paint and not a cool tool like photoshop. But! Something along the lines of this would be cooler. Storm trooper helmets have little vents, so accentuating vents with vinyl would be cool.

The perfect storm trooper look would have to be something like this.

There's a white Elise for sale so perhaps I should go buy it and get a helmet! ;)

That's closer on the front. The sides I am not sure about.

I would not trade my car for an elise. ;-)

Now I need a stormtrooper helmet.

Is it Snell 2010 rated?!

Most "Stormtrooper" themes I've seen just play heavily on black accenting on a white car, and usually have some sort of Stormtrooper decal on the rear windshield, gas cap, etc to solidify the reference.

Looking at an image of a Stormtrooper, I think getting fog lights would help mimic the bolts at the bottom of the helmet near the mouth, and like @Chen had mentioned I think that a black lip would look good, and help to add more black accenting.

I think that painting, or adding black door handles would also add great contrast, and mimic the black accenting on the profile of the helmet. The black wheels already look good, and they're awesome wheels in general, so personally I would keep those.

The Stormtrooper has a very distinct thick black line on the brow - I can't tell from the image if you've got a decal on the 6" strip at the top of the windshield, but if not, and if you would want to, adding a very dark tint to the 6" strip on the windshield would probably help mimic that feature.

I think you've got a few options to make Arashi look like a Stormtrooper, while keeping the ride clean, and in good-taste all-around. If I had a white car, I would probably do something just like this

Why not do a wookie themed car instead. I don't remember seeing any hairy brown cars aside from the dog car in Dumb & Dumber. ;)

Sad face.

What about this:

I think your rendering looks good. Dunno that I'd think"storm trooper" when I saw it, but it definitely looks good. The black tape you tried... not so much. Keep at it you'll find something
