(HELP) PROBLEM WITH TURN SIGNALS

Hi all,

Recently, I've been having problems with my turn signals.

I've been running fine with Tom's tailights without any issue for about a year, and all of sudden whenever I'm trying to turn my right turn signal, it doesn't blink and it just stays on. So I had to do little trick like turning off the car and turn on/off hazard button whenever this happend.

I did search on this forum, and found out that it's flasher relay related issue. So I bought TapTurn relay, and boom the problem seem to be resolved.

However, another problem happened. When the car is off, and if I'm trying to lock or unlock doors using remote, the turn signal lights blinks then it STAYS ON. (both side)

When this happens, I have to either 1)turn on/off the engine or 2) press hazard button to turn them off.

At this moment, I'm just locking the door from inside lock/unlock button on the door panel so that the turn signals don't have to blinking.

Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? This really is driving me nuts!

Any help would be really really appriciated.

Thanks!

Does it do that when you use your other remote ... ??

Maybe your car doesn't like that type of flasher or relay you put in ..... ??

You have checked the related fuses ... ??

That's all the guesses I have.

It's the relay.

That is a feature of the TapTurn flasher. When you lock/unlock your doors, the flashers stay lit for whatever time you have the relay set for. It's called "welcome lighting"

Refer to the instructions that came with your TapTurn, or email the company for instructions on how to adjust the time they stay on, or to disable that feature.
