Problem with turn signal lights

Hi all,

Recently, I've been having problems with my turn signals.

I've been running fine with Tom's tailights without any issue for about a year, and all of sudden whenever I'm trying to turn my right turn signal, it doesn't blink and it just stays on. So I had to do little trick like turning off the car and turn on/off hazard button whenever this happend.

I did search on this forum, and found out that it's flasher relay related issue. So I bought TapTurn relay, and boom the problem seem to be resolved.

However, another problem happened. When the car is off, and if I'm trying to lock or unlock doors using remote, the turn signal lights blinks then it STAYS ON. (both side)

When this happens, I have to either 1)turn on/off the engine or 2) press hazard button to turn them off.

At this moment, I'm just locking the door from inside lock/unlock button on the door panel so that the turn signals don't have to blinking.

Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? This really is driving me nuts!

Any help would be really really appriciated.

Thanks!

How long is it staying on for? I know that by default the TapTurn comes with that feature enabled. It will keep your turn signals on for something like 20 seconds before disabling. If you are displeased with this feature, you can disable it.

By having your car off, pushing the turn stalk down (engaging the left turn signal), and then turning on your engine. This will decrease the amount of time the turn signals stay lit by a certain time interval. Repeat the process until the timer is set to zero.

All of this information is available via the TapTurn manual. I hope this solves your problem!

Yep, it's a feature of the TapTurn module and it's all in the paperwork that came with it...
