Excessive negative camber?
So we were putting in camber bolts today to adjust the front and threw it up on the alignment rack and found I have two degrees more negative camber on the front and rear wheels on the passenger side. The rear is of course not adjustable at all. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm taking the car in first thing Monday to see what Toyota will do about it :/ Anyone wanna buy an FRS?

sounds like an error measuring maybe. That's not consistent with others.

Definitely not an error in the measuring. You can see it from behind. Checked it at home with a framing square.

Someone else on here noticed that same thing when they put theirs on the rack. I'm sure you can find the thread if you search.

Very interested in this - did you ever find the cause for the disparity? |
It's slowly going away.
Bushings settling? |
was alignment done with you in the car?

weird... is there anything loose?
Control arms, strut tops, etc... |

I noticed that the shock seals seemed to have a lot of stiction when new. After 1200 miles with a lot of back road driving they are much more supple. I wonder if they were jacking the chassis slightly to the left?
Glad to hear it is getting better. |
