Is this car worth it?

I wanted to buy this car for my dad and as you can see it's a rebuilt title. The guy said it was involved in a light accident.

He also send me this pictures of when he purchased it from the insurance company.Attachment 109690Attachment 109691Attachment 109692
What's bothering me is why there is no back emblem and no tail lights on the car. He told me they were inside the car and he put them on himself.

I would look up the carfax if that explains it...but if you're getting this car for a long time and believe you won't be selling in anytime soon - I'd say go for it (idk if the price is right, but for a 2k mile car it's pretty good). Also, haggle a bit more off of it if you decide to get it.

Get a mechanic to look at it as well.

Yea I was thinking that but I'm not sure if i want to spend 40$ for car fax and it doesn't give me enough detail of the accident.

Look at it this way. The insurance company (one of the least generous institutions on earth) didn't think it was worth fixing there may be a lot more wrong with it than you are being told. Cars do not get totalled from a "light accident".

Too good to be true... usually turns out to be 'too good to be true'.
