What are the capabilities of the retune? Could you be more specific? i.e. timing curves, fuel maps, rev limiter? What exactly do you get for a retune? or is it going to be base maps based on performance mods?

Went to there website and found this...only stock readings so far...

Ecutek didn't go over so well with Subarus because a lot of tuners either stopped doing it or moved on and people were stuck with a locked ecu. I think that was an older problem and you can get around it now though.
more info here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1027462 In the Subaru world everyone uses and openecu tune or an Accessport, and those can be easily changed and uninstalled back to stock. |
I agree Accessport or open ECU tune.

All your EcuTek concerns have already been convered in this thread -

Are these all stock or do some have mods?
Reason i ask is both Vtune and Lachute seem to pick up torque before and after the dip, Perrin doesnt seem to get as much before the dip.. |

Another question would be the fuel that everyone is using and how lean they are running on the top end. Visconti would you consider your tune to be cannable?(as in would it work on all cars or is this more of a protune?)
|
"no more dead rev lol"

I already have a 91 & 93 octane version of this. Now just need a version for the "91" piss cali has lol Our car was using 93 octane, Lachute was using 91 and Perrin was using 92. John |

I don't have torque on my graph because I was having problems with the dynos rpm pickup.. This dynosheet will be one of many - ill be on another dyno soon enough John |
Its great how all three of us are posting in these threads! ECUTEK put all three of us together to chat back and forth about how we tuned and the little bugs we experienced. So this is all great for everyone!

I had similar issues on my Dynojet pickup as well. I changed to using the pickup w/ the ground and just clamping the harness bundle behind rear cylinder on passenger side. Never had any issues from there forward.
