Socal dealers on aftermarket headers?

has anyone had a problem with dealers denying maintenance or warranty claims on their cars for aftermarket headers that were installed.
about to get a catted UEL header.

Also, on a slightly related sidenote. my car has been a little iffy on the shifting. I usually drive my car out of the driveway after 2-5 minutes of warming up. When i drive up the street and it comes time to shift into second, most of the time i get resistance. like a bit of fight, a very audible clunk and i can feel the shifter trying to click into the gears. but if i shift a little faster, i feel like im forcing it in. Almost always happens when i shift at 2k RPMs in second.

The sound isnt quite like the grinding you hear if you were to just move your shifter towards neutral without pushing in the clutch when youre cruising.

i read here here about it being shifter rattle while in gear that causes the problem of the gear grinding but i am uncertain.

I have a crank pulley kit (water pump, crank pulley, and alternator) but the issue has been happening for roughly over two weeks and i had my crank pulley installed during the first week of april

yeah, swap out the fluid for Motul...you'll be happy you did

And if you're local, you can pick up or get it installed too.

And open saturdays! :w00t:

Remember while your coolant is somewhat warm, your oil is barely above ambient and your transmission fluid is completely cold.

I reverse out of my driveway and then go into first, and stay in it for an additional 3-5 seconds(before going into 2nd) so the oil circulates in the transmission and when I shift into second it goes in much easier than not giving it those extra few seconds. It is a little stiff the first shift of the day, but after that, it is all good.

I have a 2015 also, and when I swapped fluids to motul at 5600(currently at ~10k) it helped quite a bit.
