ugh that happened to me. I must have been sleepy eyed drunk or something I backed in the wall in a parking garage lol.

Soon after I got smashed by someone running a stop sign so it got fixed "free". I'd expect around 300-500 for a repair on that.

FSpeed 05-11-2015 03:12 PM

:barf:

What is my alternative?

FSpeed 05-11-2015 03:29 PM

No one else?

Please I don't want to pay 300-500.

Is a fix with a 37j spray paint kit possible?

BlueSky 05-11-2015 03:32 PM

What happened?

;)

$500 to "Fix" it or $25 to spray it yourself and "Cover it up". Your choice.

ntron1 05-11-2015 03:34 PM

FWIW...."Best" and "Cheapest" can rarely be used in the same sentence.

Jeez tough crowd??

What I Am asking is if I can get the same results as this member did? Considering the Spot it is in?

Thank you, I appreciate any and all answers.

You could probably touch it up with paint but you might still be able to feel like marks if you run your hand across it.

This guy gave you an answer.

Try getting it detailed, maybe it'll buff out.

Thank you brother for your response. Thats why I was thinking of sanding it like the other member in the other thread but am too much of a wuss to do so.

The thing is, his was in an area underneath the bumper. And much smaller than what you need to fix.

By all means try it, it will only cost a can of rattle paint and clear. But when you are done and see how bad it looks you will realize even those few $ was a waste.

Personally I would just leave it as is. Maybe fill in the black spots with touch up paint and use rubbing compound on any lighter scratches.

3-500 is a dirt cheap estimate, it runs right around 1000 to do a bumper repair at my shop especially with a three stage.

KGFRS86 05-11-2015 04:21 PM

kinda looks like that might buff out to be honest. I've had worse buffed out.
