Picking up a 86, or maybe not...

Hi all,

I found a really nice Gt86 from 2013 with hardly any milage on. My plan is to buy it. Or it was untill I read about the 2016 model. Now I cant decide if I should wait or just go ahead and get that super nice86 I have found...

:bonk:

Btw, thanks for letting me join this group!

The differences between the two are so minor (unless I missed something on the European 16my) that you might as well save some money and go with the one you already found.

I would wait until at LEAST 2020, because then they will have had to make a model with more power... they've just gotta!

I read that 2016 model of the 86 would be one lightweight and one turbo version. True or false?

Completely false

Agreed, the turbo is just a rumor. It's actually going to be awd.

Didn't think that until the response. Now it is a whole new ball game.

Very very false unless there is something we all missed.

If they made a turbo version of Subaru's 3.6L flat 6 and dropped it in there with a 6 or more speed auto, I would be very interested.

It would be like a budget Panamera.
