TPS only 80% at WOT?
 

Why TPS max is just bit more than 80% at WOT? Consistent with several OBD readers.
Is it normal?

100% normal

The sensor is designed to have an output range of 0-5v, but they rarely do. Instead of having a ridiculous quality control that throws out 80% of the sensors they design the ECU coding to recognize a variety of voltages as WOT and closed throttle. As long as those voltages are consistent. What you're seeing is that your voltage goes to 80% of 5v, but that's fine, your ECU will still treat that 4v as WOT, and scale in between. If you look at the same value while the throttle is closed it'll likely show something like 15% or whatever. Same deal.

I'm sure CB762 discovered the hidden potential Toyota/Subaru are keeping wrapped up for the next power upgrade. 20% moar horses!

With min 13 and max 80 I'd say 1/3rd of sensor range is lost (even though ECU self-calibrating to that range). Wondering how that affects precision of throttle control? Is it worth to find TPS operating in full range?

Take off your intake tube so you can see into throttle body and hence throttle plate.

turn on car (don't start) get you mate to push throttle and you will see throttle plate open full range. Its just way ecu data is logged.
