Yeah, somebody posted this video on here a couple years ago. Amazing that autox was televised even if it was local. The commercials were pretty funny too. Somebody pointed out the TV shop hyping the Sony Betamax.

Betamax was cool, I remember going to video rental store (local & not own by corporates) & they have an entire section for betas.

Nice video. Interesting to see. They were talking about rapidly changing tire tech 30 years ago and we are still seeing massive changes today. Thanks for sharing this timeless gem of a video.

This has been posted a few times over the last couple years. I've autocrossed with a few of the people from the video. There used to be more "street" autocrosses around the country back in the day.

Those lines would be really nice. Sometimes I get lost in the sea of cones and DNF. Especially on the tighter more technical courses.
