So, if someone hits you, cant you hit them back? Thats just self defense right? If someone hits your car with a car, its only self defense if you hit their car with another car right :)

Their insurance said they are waiting for his statement, then I will get to pick the shop of my choice to get the vehicle repaired.

Update: He made the statement and I just got the check from his insurance for $1500. Looking for reputable shop now.

Glad to see something go right on here. Know it happens the majority of the time but the guys that have good news stories rarely seem to tell them so all people see are the bad ones.

The main thing I want Johnny to learn from all this is that PDR stands for paintless dent repair. Though sometimes I guess it may feel pointless.
