Yea sure.. I now remember seeing you a while ago at the Fred Myer's/Pop eye's intersection. I was revving it for you. Any meets coming up soon?

Thursday night we'll be at Sykart. I don't think there's anything else this month yet.

By the son of Zeus... that is LOUD! How do you drive up the hill of HWY 26 without going deaf? It sounds kick ass but when I had the exhaust I mentioned in the previous post I couldn't make it up the hill without wanting to punch myself or put earplugs in. Switching to the Invidia Q300 fixed my loud issue and now it's only loud when I floor it as seen in my build thread track day videos.

+1

I climb that HW 26 hill after the tunnel on my Perrin 3inch catback and it is super uncomfortable (not to mention the pressure change). Props to you for handling that exhaust and no going deaf! :eyebulge:

Header did a nice job getting rid of the TQ dip, and the nice tune as well

Here is my car. Catted JDL EL header with a catted mid pipe as well.

This is a 3rd gear run comparing my off the shelf Perrin tune to one done by Bob. http://i62.tinypic.com/30w1f1t.jpg

Here is my 4th gear run too.

For shits and giggles here is my old 2zz vs the Fa20

very nice, here's mine stock tune with drop in filter, catless fp and perrin cbe vs tuned with tomei uel, perrin op and the rest of the mods from the stock run. I'm most impressed with the gain of torque in the dip, you really feel that in daily driving and was well worth the money.

Hmmm. I see quite a few consistent results and numbers. :)

I always forget how slow our cars really are. Jesus... They dyno so low compared to most

D_Thissen 05-06-2015 09:59 AM

Awesome gains, especially the mid range torque! How does it feel to drive?

It may be overly loud, but I'm used to loud cars and I love how honest do they sound 😁

Yupp.. Although it did take a good step, I am not quite satisfied with the engine performance. Supercharging seems to be the way to go.

In terms of daily driving, it is much nicer to drive without that tourqe dip. Better performance oversll but insignificant for sure.
