Anyone here from the Kansas City area?
 

Just wondering if anyone in the KC area has purchased an FR-S yet. I'm going to test drive one over the weekend and I was wondering if any dealerships have that ridiculous dealer mark up thing going on.

I'm going to KU and work at Crown Toyota/Scion in Lawrence and have a manual Raven FR-S on order with them. As far as I know Molle, Crown, and even Olathe Toyota have no bs mark ups. They actually stick to the Scion Pure Pricing and don't automatically add on dumb packages as far as I've seen. Good luck on your test drive! Don't forget to try it out in sport mode which is the partial stability control off setting. There is a difference in how it responds during turns and if I'm not mistaken sharpens the throttle response a little bit.

Nice. I live in Lawrence right now, also going to Ku. I test drove the white At FR-S at the Olathe dealership. I drove it last Saturday, June 16th, and it already has over 300 miles on it :eyebulge: I need to sell my current car before I really start looking for an Fr-S. Hopefully find something with under 40miles on it. Looking like I'm going to have to order one though...

i got a couple of friends over in KC or Lawrence area that have a Black FRS and a white BRZ, i make a few trips out there a year, love seeing that side of kansas.

Hendricks toyota/scion off 67th and i-35 always seem to have a fr-s in stock, ive seen 3-4 over the past 2 months since i picked mine up there. 2-3 days ago they had a raven 6spd i believe. Good luck on your hunt!

Another Lawrence FRS owner reporting in. Picked it up back in late April after test driving the BRZ and FRS they had here in Lawrence. Fell in love as soon as I saw the BRZ in the showroom at Briggs Subaru.

I commute to OP every night for work, and so far I've only ever encountered a handful of other FRS/BRZ owners around Lawrence/OP - which is really sad considering the amount of Mustangs and Camaros that roam the streets. I would def love to get some kind of meet-up going on a weekend some time. Also, if anyone has a BRZ/FRS that lives in Lawrence, you should hit me up and we can go cruise or terrorize the town a bit - Always looking for an excuse to have a little fun :burnrubber:
