I've confirmed this.

The Oil Pressure Switch is a 1/8" BSPT (tapered 28 threads per inch fitting).

NPT is 27 threads per inch.

I had to measure it with a thread gauge 10 times before I was certain it was 28TPI as they are so close it was very hard to tell. Given I could barely tell the difference I'd reckon you could probably jam a 1/8 NPT 27TPI fitting in there and it would seal. However it is definitely a 28TPI BSPT fitting.

I can vouch for the vs BSPT vs NPT thing. I originally threaded a 1/8" NPT fitting in there, started the engine, and sprayed oil all over the place. Lost probably a half-quart before I shut it down.

Can anyone confirm the thread size of the oil temp sensor? It is bigger than the oil pressure sensor's 1/8PT.

Is it M12*1.5 or 1/4PT or?

Note to self, buy a oil filter stacking setup for this.

Hello!

Does anybody know what metric threads the oil pressure switch and temp sensor uses? I'm trying to buy the right T-fitting to install an oil temp guage

Thanks!

Oil Pressure Switch is 1/8PT (BSPT)

Oil Temp is M10 x 1.25, but you don't want to Tee and take oil temps there. The better route is to get a Pan Drain Bolt Adapter. This will give you much better penetration into the oil vs a Tee that would be in stagnant oil.

We do offer a dual 1/8PT of you're looking to add oil pressure and retain the OEM pressure switch. It's made from billet Stainless and far stronger than a brass Tee.

We do have a drain plug adapter for the 2022+ BRZ/GR with 1/8 PT for oil temp sensors.

Would this not work? M16x1.5 is the Gen1 drain plug fitment, and I would assume that carries over to Gen2.

I'm going to say my coffee had not kicked in yet, because you're absolutely right. Thank you for catching that! I will update my previous post.
