Sticky request.

Can someone who knows what they're doing please make a list of all the ways you can change the way the twins handle, shift, etc. by pushing switches, dancing on pedals, etc.
I realize that some of this is readily available in manuals, but it would be nice (and probably head off a lot of threads) if they were all collected in one place with clear descriptions for the weird ones and what to expect when engaged.
A place to learn the difference between a simple press of a button as opposed to holding it for 5 seconds, kind of thing.

That would be one helluva long sticky.

I suppose I could compile all the relevant thread into a sticky.... I'll get around to it soon enough :)

There's really only 5 modes

1. Standard
2. Sport mode (push the button on the right once)
3. Trac off (push the button on the left once) for snow and low traction scenarios
4. Traction control "off" (push and hold the button on the left for 5 seconds)
5. Pedal Dance (link: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25494 )

There's also pulling the ABS fuse, it's a little riskier but on par with the pedal dance. Here's a video for the difference between Normal-Sport-Off based on the button pushes 1, 2, 4 above (described in video as VSC On, VSC Sport, VSC Off in the same order as above):

what confuses me is...
#3 should be off at under 30mph (to get out of snow) but otherwise on at above 30mph.
#4 should be full off, but isn't, not sure when it turns back on.
#5 full off.

I've also heard there is a vsc re-calibration that can be done with techstream after lowering the car so vsc is operating correctly.

I think that would be cool. At speed I find sport mode really doesn't allow any slip before cutting in. I guess the post above me explain it. Interested in other people experience with different modes.

Brief descriptions with links when they exist would be very helpful to newbs (and forgetful oldsters :) ) . Thank you.
