Ummmm, probably not the best choice for protecting a car. Flaming bodies running around could cause you some issues. Now if you are fighting an alien in a deep space mining vessel maybe...

Canadians only riot when our hockey teams win and I don't have one where I live so feel pretty safe.
For that matter I would feel pretty safe driving through Toronto as well.
