Nice car! I wanted a white FR-S... but could only find a black in manual. Are you planning on staying NA or are you going to add some FI? Btw, I envy your '98 GSX! I had a '95 GS but thought the front and rear end of the 97-99 looked sooooooooooo much better.

If you haven't installed the rear shifter bushing or the whiteline kit yet - I can save you some time!!!
If you follow this DIY: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19782 You do NOT have to remove the front pipe or the transmission support bracket - you ONLY have to remove the center bolt (the one circled in blue: https://www.flickr.com/photos/victorn07/8088930469/), jack up the transmission about a half inch ~ 1 inch, and push the T bolt up and out of the way before inserting the Whiteline bushing. When you install the Perrin rear shifter bushing, remember to put the shifter in neutral before trying to pull/put on the new bushing, it'll make it a lot easier to pull off / push on. DIY here (the guy who wrote these guides is awesome): http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19767 |

Same way I did both. Except I used my hand to lift the transmission lol not a jack but either works:) |
Nice car! Loving the lip. Where'd you end up getting it from?
