Valenti rear bumper light wiring question...

Ok I'm pretty good when it comes to mechanical things, but wiring is not one of them, it doesn't help that I'm color blind. I picked up a Valenti bumper light a while ago and had the day off so thought I would do the install. First problem no instructions, so how do I wire it up??? I saw a youtube clip and it said tap into a blue wire on the left tail light, I don't have a blue wire going to the tail light. My girlfriend says they are, Gray, Red, Yellow, and Green. I did a search and only found guys opening up the unit and cutting and adding and soldering wires, don't want to do that. Just need to figure out what wires go were. The back up lights are the only thing that's working now. PLEASE HELP...

The unit did come with wire taps and a extra piece with 2 wires shrink wrapped together, also another smaller dia. red wire already attached to the light unit.

Thanks for your help...

Had to do trial and error. Ended up with red connecting to green, and blue connecting to red on the wires going into taillight.
