Carbon fiber hood paint Miami area?
Already posted this in the south Florida 86 Facebook page without much success. I wanted to see if there are any recommended paint/body shops in the Miami area that could paint a carbon hood properly. Thanks.

 no paint pros in miami. Miami seems to a be a crappy area for auto enthusiasts lol.

I'd take it to TR3. I am sure they could find someone to do a great job on it.

Spend the money and take it to a Porsche certified bodyshop. It doesn't get much better than that.

I told him to not go with mine because there's a few details I did not like in mine. Good thinking though.

I know of a body shop in Hallandale. They did the entire vorrstein trunk on my Lexus and were able to blend the paint perfect to leave the strip I wanted of CF

Called tr3 as suggested and they have someone who could do it but they're asking around 580 or so because they claim to have to match the fenders. That's a little too much, I don't hate carbon that much.

Got me there lol.. im familiar with the Fa20club stuff but didn't know tr3 was the same thing. I really don't think the matching needs to be perfect as my front bumper's already looking a different color not to mention my rear bumper turning yellow.. "cause race car" I think white is a pain to maintain. I don't know for that much money I think I could live with the carbon as mentioned. |
