Waxing off with DA

Hey all,

I have a Porter Cable 7424xp and I wax on with LC pads but was wondering what you guys use to wax off. I know Porter Cable has a microfibger bonnet kit ([ame="http://www.amazon.com/PC-7424-Microfiber-Bonnet-Kit/dp/B0008F69V6"]Amazon.com: PC 7424 Microfiber Bonnet Kit: Automotive[/ame]) but it seems kind of expensive for not a lot. Are there any bonnets available at a disposable price? I'm not a fan of rewashing microfiber repeatedly.

Thanks.

Waxing off is the easy part, so you could always do it by hand! But when I machine buff, I use a MF bonnet (link) over a wool/synthetic leveling pad. It's not any cheaper than what you posted above. I've washed the bonnets twice now and they're still going strong, though.

Can you put these over a normal LC pad or do you need a different shaped one?

edit: read through the description, best on a lambswool pad.

Who is DA, and where do I sign up?

i laughed at there description

"Once you've washed your vehicle, polished it, and applied that important layer of wax, what are you going to use to buff your paint to the most impressive shine possible?"

The only thing I do by hand is apply and remove wax. The rest is done on the DA. I feel ... more intimate with my car on the last step.
