3" Exhaust Options for Forced Induction
1 Attachment(s)
What are the best options for 3" exhaust setups?
I'm currently looking at the PTuning 3" Dual Cat Back to run with my supercharger. |
I'm currently running a JDL UEL, 3 inch Nameless Performance OP/DP combo (catted, resonated, and a Helmholtz resonator), 3 inch Perrin Performance resonated cat back with a supercharger. It's obnoxiously loud. Not recommended.
I'm swapping over to 2.5 inch pipes. I'm getting too old to be in the loud slow car. |
fairly certain a combo of FP's and OP's with Perrin 3" JDL 3"(?) Namless 3" and PTuning 3" catbacks will complete the system. Those who make 3" FP and OP's are much smaller, i think JDL and Nameless are the only two that i know of.

I'm going to go custom once I get my turbo installed. Figured it will save my a decent amount of cash

But, with a turbo, flow and volume go hand in hand. With a SC like the op.... I bet exhausts make minimal difference. The CSG car still runs a stock muffler ;) |
Running a full custom 3" overpipe back. Couldnt fina good complete system that also included overpipe at 3"
|
My exhaust if a full 3" turbo back from Full Race, but it's modular to their kit.
|
I custom made my own 3" turbo back, I'm not chasing big numbers just yet so I didn't find it worth the extra noise. I also had to switch to hard engine mounts which Im not a fan of in a street car.

Custom made by a local reputable shop. Best option, perfect fitment.
