Perrin Cold Air intake vs Mishimoto Cold Air Intake?

GrimmSpeed air intake. They've done an incredible amount of testing and refining to make their product work well without affecting the AFR, which a lot of the others will do.

I love my Grimmspeed intake. I haven't had it on a dyno to know what my gains are. but I really enjoy the improved throttle response.

I'll be that guy: stock airbox plus a drop-in filter.

I've also got the stock airbox + k&n. Can't say I've noticed much of a difference. Can't speak for grimspeed but the results are pretty minor considering the cost difference.

The GS intake is a good product with lots of testing behind it, but I agree with @pinski -- a CAI is not the most cost-effective mod for these cars. You can get much of the benefit with just a drop-in filter.

For the 832nd time on the subject. These guys are correct.
Unless...you just want the change for looks.

But!

Does the drop in filter come with stickers? Gotta have stickers if you want real gain.

Nope and it doesn't change the colour of the intake tube so you lose on that hp gain as well.

So, you guys are saying if I don't have the stickers, it's like I didn't even put an intake in?
Where do I get stickers? More stickers means more hp, right?

Last time somebody asked that questions things didn't go so well!

But really there are some great reviews on intakes and drop in filters in the tech section. Nothing will give you massive gains but drop ins will give you a bit and some nicer sound. The whole intake will do about the same and you get the added benefit of dressing up the bay a little but there is really nothing else to be gained for the extra money.

Oh my god.... It is true what they say!
I need 2 of those.

So it's all about personal preference. Because there's different opinions for drop-ins and redoing it.
