Removing interior panels extended time/permanently, will it cause damage?

(For this post I will be referring to trim pieces, pillars, panels and the roofliner all as 'panels')

While prepping my frs for many upcoming interior mods and testing fittings I have found it advantageous to leave most of the interior panels/trim/pillars removed for work instead of reinstalling on a weekly basis.

Aside from the obvious excess road noise, my question is: Do you think direct sunlight on connectors, wires (most wrapped in electrical tape) and rear speakers will cause any damage as opposed to being covered with the interior trim/panels? (I am talking from the door panels and back to include rear speakers and deck, pillars and roofliner)

I am wanting to leave many of these panels removed for an extended amount of time (possibly 3 months or longer) and would like input on any possible lasting side effects from those with more experience.

To my understanding, even clear plain window glass blocks most uv radiation, and that's the only thing I could even think may be of concern. Besides accidentally snagging some exposed wiring and pulling it or something. I'm pretty sure lots of people run with stripped interiors with no ill effect.

I do not speak from experience though. I assume it'll be fine.

You'll be fine.

It'll just look ghetto

Doubt anything would happen, I'd be more worried about how the interior panels are being stored and if they'd warp.

Yeah shouldn't be a problem at all.. I had panels out of an old car for a few months when it was getting painted and nothing happened. Just more road noise as you already stated.

Makes you feel like your in a race car!!!
