Spacers with aftermarket studs?
 

So I bought my '13 BRZ Limited as a CPO car, the car has the brackets from some rally armor mud flaps on it and extended studs on all four corners. Being that it's got the longer studs (extending out about one inch from the stock rims) does anyone know what type of spacers I could use to make the stock wheels sit flush?

Cliffs: cars got extended studs therefore don't need spacers with built in stud extensions, what kind do I get?

You need slip-on style spacers. The best kind will be hubcentric (56.1mm bore) and likely made from an aluminum/magnesium alloy (to be strong and lightweight).

To know how wide your spacers should be to get your wheels flush with the fender, you'll need to tell us the specs of your wheels and tires.

If you're running the stock wheels and tires, you'll need 20mm front and 25-30mm rear. The problem is, slip on spacers this wide are too wide for safety (in the words of the H&R rep I spoke with). The widest they recommended was 15-18mm on extended studs. With the stock wheels & tires 15-18mm slip on spacers would still look pretty good all the way around.

If you want to run 20mm front 25/30mm rear, you'll need to put the stock studs back on the car and then use bolt on spacers (H&R also makes these, as well as a few other companies (Ichiba, Eibach, B2Autodesigns, etc).

That is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for the help. Wondering if I am better off having stock studs pressed back in or just going for what H&R recommended.

I am using 15mm in the front and 20mm spacers in the back with extended studs. Work perfectly with my Rota 17x7.5 with I believe 45mm offsets. Here is a link to what I used. Best of all you can take off the rear studs without taking off the hubs. There is barely enough clearance to get them in and out.

Thanks guys, ill do more research. Seems like for the time being id be better off using what H&R recommends instead of paying to get the studs replaced again.
