turbo/supercharged FRS ride along?

If anyone has a super changed or turbo FRS I would love to go for a ride so I can force myself to walk to turbo my car.

@digital_assassin @stockysnail @FRS-cotty @Jonsy86 are only the guys that come to mind in the pdx area

digital_assassin 04-17-2015 05:30 PM

My car is once again out of commission for more mods but once its online again I'd be happy to give rides.

You're welcome to come to my place in Beaverton this weekend and I'll let you drive it. Twin screw supercharger is much different than a turbo however as there's all the torque down low vs waiting until 3500 or even 5k with a turbo or centrifugal supercharger. Race car for track days go turbo as you'll always be in the top 5-7k rpm range. Twin screw for everything else (daily, autox, mountain carving).

And if I'm feeling in the mood I may sell my supercharger and exhaust to you as I've been constantly going back and forth with selling because I have debt I'd like paid off all the way sooner than later.

Our resident Turbo BRZ sold his car...so as far as I know there really aren't any Turbos in the area but next year there will probably be 3-4 turbos (this guy)

Did you do the ARP studs on your own?

How long does it take to get each hub done?

Chen 05-11-2015 02:55 PM

Use a hammer and elbow grease.

Not that long at all.. I used my stock lug nuts to hammer out the old ones and I used a breaker bar a washer and some random bolt I had laying around to get them all in and all the way down. The first one on the front and rear together took me 2 hours then another 1 hour after I figured out how to do it all.

Saturdays at 8. I believe all the info is in there. I myself don't see myself going to that one unless there a mob of us heading over there.
