Just so the 86 in the metal for the first time... :clap:
It felt like a dream. The GT model's interior is not nearly as bad as some reviews made it out to be. The tyre/cover in the trunk is probably the worst part; and even that's not that bad. Sadly, I couldn't take it for a drive, but now that I've physically felt the car, my estimated delivery date of late July seems like an eternity away. =(

Also, it was nice to meet some fellow forum goers while I was there. :happy0180:

so where did you see the car? Zen Garage or a dealer?

Dealer had it for half of today. It's gone now. =(

got to touch and feel the car today of the GT version. OMG! The GT version is nuts! Can't wait for the GTS!

I can say seriously, once you're in the car you don't want to get out. HAHA!

im guessing this is the first BRAND NEW car a lot of people will ever be sittingin /seeing and can therefore assume that being blown away by them is understandable but more than likely an overestimation of the quality of the build.

i will reserve my judgement until ive been in one myself though.

I didn't want to leave either.. It was so sexy and it wasn't even a GTS! I'm so excited for mine to come in already!

The GTS feels so much better and looks the goods too. (well it is more expensive).

You guys are going to love the GTS seats... Plus there is quite a few little finishes that make it feel all that much better.

Now, the wait continues...

When did you order ? we were the 1st 3 to order i think ??

He ordered from another dealer. But he's a personal friend so I thought I'd bring him along.

I ordered back in early March. On the 3rd I think. And since I ordered the exact same car as davey I have to wait a month longer.

so you guys were invited for a preview then??!!

is it confirmed you have to wait a month longer. I was sure I heard from a little birdie, that all the first batch of pre-orders were going to be allocated based on what people ordered. Then all other orders were allocated to dealerships as per normal (whatever that means)

i guess we just all managed to stop by on the correct day. Same as what happened at the dealer at Blacktown Sydney.

Press cars I think. Stopover and a show off. Then disappear again.

The car just turned up for the day.
