Help: Head Unit flashes when I initiate turn signals

Whats happenin' people

2014 Scion FRS w/ touchscreen

Was driving around today and out of nowhere as i turn my signals on (left or right) the head unit and clock started to flash along with it. The radio acts as if i am turning the lights on and off with the dim/bright function. This only happens when the lights are turned off. This incident does not occur if headights are on and screen auto-dims.

I do have LED lights installed all the way around. Toms tails, Diode Dynamics leds everywhere else on the exterior. I also have the led flasher relay that came with the tailights installed. I have had LED lights installed for awhile now (over a year) but just recently went with the Diode Dynamics ones (yesterday) as i was looking for something more reliable and brighter.

Any ideas or have any others had a similar experience? Is there possibly too much draw from the new lights? Thanks

Do you have "Alway's on Module for BRZ" of Diodedynamics, that turns DRL and boomerang lights together ?
I've had a similar issue with a defective kit : when boomerangs was turned on by this module the clock turned very dark and the GPS turned to night mode.

Were you able to resolve this? I’m running into this issue now.
