Paint transfer scrape removal

I wanted to share my bad experience of the day, and maybe present a solution to fellow members if this ever happens. I was backing out of a parking lot today and scraped one of those small painted parking poles. It was so low that I didn't even see it. Luckily it was at a low speed, and didn't appear to cause alot of damage. However I was pissed and it ruined my day:mad0260:

As soon as I got home, I cleaned the area and rubbed on some Goo Gone spray gel with a microfiber and good amount of force. It came off so easy! I'm glad the area wasn't damaged, and will be on the lookout from now on for those damn poles!

Next time try a cleaner wax or polish, more likely you have scratches left over on the clear (look at it closely in the sun) but may be able to get buffed out.

Yeah, hopefully there is not a next time haha. I'm going to polish and get it waxed up next.
