I've raced in 3 SCCA autocross events now. All toyobaru owners need to go to at least 1 eventually. You'll love your car even more. There are 3 different venues to choose from depending on your location and schedule. The central and northeast scca regions in okc and tulsa. And the okc sheriff training facility with the porsche club. I plan on eventually going to all 3 over time. Last okscca event this season is Oct21. Tulsa is on Nov9. Not sure about the ongoing schedule for the porsche club but the info nubster provided should help you find it. I strongly encourage trying it out at least once.:)

Hey guys! I live in OKC and had to order my BRZ limited in WR Blue with a 6 spd manual from a dealer out in Missouri. The order was placed not to long ago so I doubt I'll get it anytime soon. But it is coming!

Purchased my GBS BRZ Premium 6MT on 10/11/12. I work for Hudiburg Subaru as a Certified Sales Consultant. We are getting 2 more BRZ Limited 6MTs by the middle of November and have 6 more allocated for the rest of the '13 model year.

I planned on just daily'ing the BRZ and dumping more money into my STi, but that changed after the first week of ownership. I know it's not the same platform, but the huge lack of acceleration is what is killing me. Perhaps I'll be happy with letting it breathe better. From what I gathered, tuning is going to be on the expensive side cos ECUTek is the only company who's cracked the ECU. Hopefully that changes soon.

Anybody else notice how heavy the flywheel seems? Revs are lazy but that shifter is so slick. This car reminds me of my old Integra Type R and that endears it to me deeply.

Already on the way: Invidia N1 catback and Greddy intake. Looking at coilovers and wheels.

I bumped into another owner when I was on my way home to get out of town. I didn't realize it 'til I was pulling out of the gas station. He was asking about my BRZ and I was just thinking about getting to Dallas for OU vs TX weekend and the Texas Invitational. Sorry, dude. I'm really not a douche! :D

no Paco is not, he is a cool guy. Its cool that you got one Paco you probobly dont remember me but we have ran into each other many of times out at VW on 39th I usually hang out with the old guy Larry. ohh and im 98kouki on ok-speed

Boss Paco 10-25-2012 12:56 AM

Yeah, I'm just a car guy. Sorry, but I'm drawing a blank other than the SN. I'm sure we'll meet again. Got tired of my beater and this BRZ was there. My bike was really dusty, so I sold it and got the BRZ.

My STi is my fast car. Fast is relative. I'm hoping for a 10 second pass to justify my investment. However, if it goes faster, I won't be disappointed.

Anyone got any plans for a beastly FRS or BRZ?

sirhc 10-25-2012 10:41 PM

just the basics. wich ive pretty much got done .I dont plant any huge power its not super fast but its as fast as anything ive owned lately but I dont track just enjoy the fun of an empty parking lot and the occasional rain

Boss Paco 10-26-2012 02:58 AM

Hope my greddy intake shows up tomorrow. Just installed my Invidia N1 tonight. Still pricing suspension and specing out some wheels. I also saw a dude that wrapped some interior pieces with black alcantara which I have some extra laying around. I might give that a go this Sunday.

I said I wasn't doing this and I'm still rocking the paper plate.

Somebody kicked in the front right quarter panel of my car while i was at the OU/ND game Saturday night. Pretty massive dent. Cracked/chipped paint. Park carefully my friends.

Sunuvabeech! A drunk dumbass. I wish a donkey would rape this person for you.

mo8ius 10-30-2012 01:33 AM

I concur

nubbster927 10-31-2012 11:07 PM

wow that really sucks. sorry to see that. did you get an estimate for repair?

mo8ius 10-31-2012 11:15 PM

Yeah it's about $1375.00. They're planning to just replace the panel, repaint and blend to the adjoining pieces. Gotta remove and replace the clear rockguard on the hood and side too.

Boss Paco 11-01-2012 12:38 AM

A long way from Guymon! What's close? Maybe Enid would have a tint store capable.
