Trying to find a Blue series.Blue (I think I totaled my baby)

3 Attachment(s)
So I hit a coyote on Friday, slid the right front tire into the curb, that spun the car, then the left rear tire hit the curb, and the car flipped onto its side. I had to crawl up and out of the passenger door. It was the scariest moment of my life.
I was going the speed limit of 50 mph, and I had a friend that had a similar accident in the same area in 2011 and he lost his life so I feel blessed to walk away with only a burn from the side curtain airbags.

I think the car is a total loss, but in the mean time I am trying to locate a blue series.Blue to replace my baby. I called my local dealer, and they said they would look, but I have zero faith in their ability.

Any tips on how to locate one, if there are any left?...

awww!! I'm glad you are ok.
Open all the websites for the dealers and click inventory and then brz. It is pretty much updated daily. Pull that gurney flap off!! I want if you want to let it go.

damn dude, that sucks. glad you made it out without any serious injuries though.

I'm 80% sure all the brand new series.blues have been sold. You'll have to look for used, I'm afraid.

You should be able to find a used series blue brz, i think most of the series blue are already ..

There are so many damn parts on my car. Swift Spec R springs, Brand new Bilsteins, front & rear sway bars, intake, header, over pipe, & cat back. Gurnet flap, full underbody panels, complete audio upgrade... I need to find out a way to get all my things out of the car before they salvage it.

I climbed out of the car, tehn pushed it over by myself. I sat there for 20 minutes because I couldn't find my phone then finally walked home. Turns out the phone was in my jacket pocket. (it's amazing what shock can do to you) When I went back in the morning with a trailer, it was impounded. The tow trruck driver told me the police didn't believe one person pushed the car over by themselves. LOL (suns out, guns out) I'm still waiting on the damn insurance company to look at it or transport it to the auto body shop.

I put in my order for a BRZ about a month ago and picked mine up this past saturday. I originally wanted a Series.Blue too, but every dealership I contacted said they were no longer available new. Heck when I was searching, 1 dealership let me sit there with them on the internal Subaru inventory search system and we did a nationwide search on new Series.Blue's that returned no results. When I went back like a week later to order a limited from that dealership, they let me know that the Series.Blue option had been completely removed from the search by Subaru. New ones are gone at this point.

Yeah, double check for concussions or if you feel weird at all. Shock makes you do crazy shit like un-flip a car by yourself and walk home with your phone in your pocket.

Talk to the insurance company asap and tell them you want to tow it out of the tow yard because it is expensive there. Possible they might reimburse you. Doesn't hurt to ask and see what they say. Then send it to the body shop to pull your parts off there.

They won't pay for my rental, but they're paying for it to sit in the tow yard. Stupid...

I have had 3 claims adjusters in 4 days. I can't get ahold of anyone today. I have left 3 messages today. No one will call me back.
I have Progressive, and I assure you that I will no longer have progressive after this. And this is after being with them for almost 10 years.

I found one the other day on autotrader... I'll see if I can find it again.

Also, if you hit a coyote is it your fault? do you have to pay the deductible?

My insurance better call me. If so, I see a road trip in my near future.

Your welcome. Now answer my question!

I sell Subies in Texas, I just did a nationwide search for you.

There are 3 total in the nation - they are all white :-(

if you are interested I can give you the dealer info

I don't trust that series.blue. Less than a year of ownership, only 8k miles, and it has a CAI and a strut tower bar....

I'd be a bit wary.

Edit: why are you looking for a series.blue anyways? Aside from the interior, there's nothing else on the car you can't add yourself. And those side skirts make lifting the car a total pain in the ass. Don't get me wrong, I love my s.b.
