Need an Alarm System!

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for alarm systems because I currently don't have one for my car because they wanted $1200 out of pocket for the karr system and I wasn't down for that when I know I can get something way cheaper and better, and if anyone knows how much would an install run me for an alarm system or where I should go to get it done, I live in the west hills area so somewhat close would be nice.

Thanks,

Same here - I'd like to get one too. I'm considering the CompuStar with Drone (phone app) for just under $700 installed. The tech didn't know if the perimeter sensors for the door locks would still work though. I also don't want to have to carry two remotes for one vehicle.

Don't get anything too sensitive lol, or else obnoxious people like my self will turn off your alarm idling next to you.

yea why not get a viper? ive heard good reviews about them and how basically anywhere installs them and they have the phone app also and a bunch of other things and the machine itself is under $200 or so depending on what you want such as: phone app, tilt sensor, glass sensor, two way sensor. idk im stuck on what to get haha.

sorry to hear about your accident, hope everything works out ok, and ive never paid a deductible for an accident because the places ive gone to get work done add it to the bill for my insurance company so i actually end up getting money back for getting into an accident hahaha.

p.s. this was less than a year ago when i had my corolla...

thanks, currently shopping for other cars if they claim it a total loss. But yea, my insurance waived my deductible (as long as i give him a good survey review).
