Replacing Gauge Cluster Lights
Hello all,
I'm looking to doing some work on my BRZ. I am not to happy with the dashboard. I am looking for anyone that has done, or professionally done, a an LED Swap on their guage cluster from red to white and blue. I would like the numbers to be white and the hash marks to be blue. Has anyone in the Austin or DFW area (or between). Can anyone recommend somewhere to go. I have contacted a couple of shops to have this done and no one works on doing those lights. Thanks in advance ~ Zan |
The lighting is SMD LED's on the circuit board meaning it's a lot of fine soldering work. Frankly, trying to make the numbers and hash makes two different colors isn't going to happen through changing the LED's, you'd have to use some kind of filter to get the different color.

There was a really cool DIY write up about using post-it notes a while back to change the backlit color of the gauge cluster. I know that sounds ridiculous but it looked really good and was a really simple and cheap mod.
