Spyder Taillights Brake Function

My function is weird. ITHINK. So, when my DRL and headlights are off and I hit the breaks the brake light functions comes on AND the DRL light comes on at the same time. Is this normal? Is there a way to separate the two?

Post pictures of your brake function w/o DRL!
