Radium Dual Catch Cans with AVO kit & RHD

Since the catch can that comes with AVO kit is a bit questionable, I was looking at upgrading to the Radium Dual Can setup.

Has anyone done this? Could you confirm the routing of the hoses? Do I still use the PCV valve that came with the AVO kit?

On top of this I have a RHD 86, which means the brake booster and battery are on opposite ends. I fear that the passenger (left) side can will not fit due to the battery positioning.

Radium haven't been very helpful basically saying they have never tested on a RHD car even though they market it as if they have.

Please post pictures if you have done this on a RHD. Thanks!

Hey mate I had one on order but swapped it over for the full blown Catch can, it will fir but you will need to bend a brake line and it's very hard to open it once it's in place, I didn't want to risk kinking the brake line.

Thanks mate. What about the battery side?

Battery side should fit, I never fitted the kit just going off a performance shop in Sydney who told me about the issue, As the had gotten a few in and installed one, saw the issues with the kit and have not recommended them to clients

I could probably refab the driver's side bracket so that I don't have to bend the brake lines.

Thanks for the info! :respekt:

I'm currently running the AVO catch can (black one) and it's been great so far. But I was also looking at the radium previously and came across this pretty neat DIY idea and was thinking of doing something similar to mount on the battery side: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=87

But if you mount it this way on the battery side, you'll need to watch out for the A/C hard lines as it may get in the way.

Very neat! I'll definitely keep this in mind. Thanks!
