This a newer oft? How do these work I see some in red boxes your is in black meaning older?

I don't think there's a read one. I think they're all black.

I too have never seen a red one. I've had this for 7 months (didn't log with it so it has just been in a box in the closet after flashing the tune). I was just looking at older FS posts and the first 2 i found looked identical.

They get periodic software updates all the time so even the first ones are just as capable as brand new ones.

the OFT for the frs/brz has remained the same since it came out for our platform...no red ones, no blue ones, nothing. Maybe packaging changed a TINY bit, but an old unit looks/performs the same as a "new" one.

If you have no buyers by may I can probably buy it from you. Until then I have to save after fixing up my 4Runner. GLWS!

You should definitely get a tune, and headers, and any other expensive upgrades you can think of so I can take your place in the Phantom ESC que :D. (yes I am after even you.)

But you caught me - I'm getting the OFT for a base tune and prep for the ESC.

However the front bumper for the 4Runner after a hit and run is $800 with a $500 copay, so I'm a bit hosed until next month's pay :p
