What are the most reliable LCA's and Toe Arms

I'm looking to drop 1.5" to 2" on KW v3 Coilovers. Based on the research I have done on the past few days, if I really wanted to dial in my camber/toe angle I'm going to need aftermarket LCA's and toe arms. I mainly concern with the rear suspension adjustments as it seems like the front will be just fine with some bushings/bolt upgrades (correct me if I'm wrong).

I have noticed a lot of threads for LCA's and Toe arms are well over a year old, and would like to see if the LCA's/toe that were introduced to the market held up (no creeps, failures, etc).

Not looking to track the car, but it would be nice to have the option if I were to change my mind. I'm also a fairly spirited driver.

I mainly interested in the following LCA's:
-Voodoo
-SPL
-Whiteline
-GTSpec
-ISC
-RS-R (recently introduced)

As for toe arms options I'm thinking whiteline will do the just fine ( I'm open to other suggestions).

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

:thanks:

There is no issues with the factory units. Bushings may dry out and tear. I consider that a consumable. When you start to have trouble with that the rest of the car will have bigger issues. eg. rust

Its all just bling. There are some stiffer units that can increase feel. They tend to be heavier and overbuilt.

Except that OP is looking for adjustability.

@Zzzquil I have SPL and they are dynamite. People are beating the hell out of them on the track and I have yet to hear of anyone having issues.

Just ream the holes oval. That gives you all the play you need.

Never thought of that but I wonder if that would affect OEM integrity as they weren't built with that engineering in mind...

Right. No chance of slippage there.

What do you mean by this? Unless you call camber adjustment bling.

I think Whiteline may have discontinued their rear lca. RacerXFabrication also do rear lca as well.

Velox are going to a lot of trouble to stress test their not-as-yet released arms http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82474 . Their testing is just crazy thorough.

Voodoo arms are kinked so that the car is dropped 18mm by installing them.

CSGMike swears by SPL.

Of the brands listed I don't think there is sufficient sales or reporting to state whether a particular brand has reliability issues.

@BatStig I think I will be going with SPL for LCA's. I have only heard good things about them aswell. What aftermarket toe arms are you running (if any)?
@Captain Snooze - Are you running any LCA's?

I have first release RacerXFabrication lca but they no longer make them in that style. They have changed from welded plate
Attachment 106582

to machined aluminium.

Another consideration is whether you want urethane bushes or spherical ends.

No toe arms at this point. I'm still running the OE springs and struts.

Honestly we run the SPC arms on all our track cars and have installed close to 50 sets on customer cars here in the NY/NJ area. We are notorious for terrible pot holes and on track we run very sticky race tires. Not a single set has slipped or changed alignment specs between alignments.

These arms are also the ones speced for The Spec86 Cup race cars as well as the SCCA T-4 class of racing.

Ratsy parts are supposed to be super durable (plus it's JDM as f*ck and all that). http://www.rasty.tv/86brz/parts.html

At least they look the part.

I also run the SPC arms with no issues! +1 for inexpensive and fully functional! Stock toe arms currently with ~1.5" drop on ST Suspension coilovers.

We abouse the crap out of Spc, no problems or slippage
