Winjet eBay DRL mod problem

so i picked up new winjet headlights and bought this DRL mod off of ebay thinking it was the Winjet kit, however looks like another company created this wiring and it's a little different from the winjet version.

Here's the link to the mod
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCION-FR-S-W...81a11d&vxp=mtr

Here's my problem, the only time LED comes on is with low beam. does not come on with the first position with the lights, but on highbeam it turns off. I followed the directions and looks like i did everything correctly, any idea what the problem could be?

MAYBE it is the product you bought, because my winjets has the Mod as well, that leaves it "ON" all the time. But @fteightysix did it for me, maybe you can clarify it with them?

With out looking at their instructions its hard to pinpoint the exact cause, their mod looks similar to ours, but missing the winjet pins from what i can see in the pictures, and im not sure how they keep the system back feeding in to itself with the diode placement. our leads are attached together so that the parking light circuit is not feeding back into the DRL circuit and the other way around. We use over sized Diodes to make sure they last, along with top quality heat shrink and then another piece of adhesive heatshrink to keep it all together instead of having the joint support everything. Also our crimps when we sell individually are heat shrunk type also to prevent corrosion and a better seal. Our prices went up due to the cost of materials going up. when i install myself i solder everything so there are no crimps or taps. we also provide Winjet pins to properly fit the plug so you are not tapping another circuit for power allowing for corrosion and a weaker contact.

Im not saying what these guys are selling is wrong, just a cheaper easier way to make the same product. We could probably pump these out for 20-30 bucks, but to me its just not worth the time, when we originally took my design to a shop i know, that designs and manufactures electrical components they told us 90$ each for a batch of 100. Built to my design since it works, there are many ways to make the same circuit, this is a more of an old fashion way, but its solid with components that should last longer then the life of your headlight and car. If you would like to pm us or email us the wire diagram, then ill see if i can find out the missing link and tell you if you can fix it using their product.

This. Most people unless they own some sort of manufacturing business really understand the amount of work and cost goes into making a product. It's insane it truly is. But this is also the only way you can put out a quality product. You can also by a $50 diffuser but I would recommend checking out someone like Driveway labs. for $500.

There is a right way to do things - and then there are shortcuts -

WINJET DRL

So i just got my winjet head lights yesterday 11/20/15. I went ahead and bought the HID KIT to go with it from FT86. My DRL only work with the high beams on and my passenger don't work neither does my passenger reflector on the passenger fender. It's pretty frustrating. I've done pretty much everything from triple checking the wiring, and connections idk what to do
