My mustang always got compliments for its condition and it's age. "Wow that's clean, what year is that?" etc.

I've had my FR-S less than 24 hours and I've had 2 people come up to me and ask me, simply, what the hell is it. Then proceed to tell me it looks damn good. I'm attracting different types of people too. If they know about it, they KNOW about it, and appreciate it, asking how it drives, etc. Other people are simply curious because in my area, a town of over 40,000, there's literally only one other one that I know of around here, and it's lava orange.

It's that 'X' factor - fun factor

You have to drive it to "GET IT"!! It's so fun to tool around in at low or high speeds. I can't say the the same for a ton of so called sports cars.

No. Is that a back handed compliment? Insinuating I would buy a run of the mill car? :iono: :bellyroll:

It's fine with 200 btw.

I believe it is a record.

When the OP indirectly/directly compared it to a 698rwhp Mustang...

Im not trying to compare. The mustang is fast yea i drove it all day yesterday and did 150mph but it lacks something the frs doesnt have. I just picked up my frs from the service department and the 5 minute ride home was better then driving the shelby all day long yesterday. Both cars are amazing im just stating that most people that look at the frs and brz just dont get it

This, until you've driven it you probably won't understand it.
As far as power goes the stock output is more than enough for the car. I put headers on just recently but mostly for the sound (UEL rumble ftw) but the little bump in power was addictive, so I tried an OFT tune and then a few days later switched to E85. The car was a blast before, definitely a 10/10 and I enjoyed all 15k miles on stock power but that extra maybe 30hp just cranked it up to 11/10

Tada sums it up... not a high performance car but a sports car with driver focus. If you enjoy the art of driving, this car is for you.
