Pdx convoy mega meet.

Travel Plans
PDX guys are meeting in the portland area at 6:45AM at 2055 NW Savier St Portland, OR 97209 and heading out at 7:00AM I am told that there is an open parking lot there so we should be able to find each other easily. Idk how many people are showing up to the pre-meet. So please show up on time.

We should be arriving at Gee Creek Safety Rest Area, Ridgefield, WA 98642 at 7:30AMish and will be leaving this rest stop by 8AM

When we leave we will be heading up North to a South Puget Sound Community College (2011 Mottman Rd SW, Olympia WA 98512) to meet up with the other group. Parking will be labeled "Lot A." (I've never been here, so idk if this place is lower car friendly or not.) After the main entrance turn right, the lot will be labeled and on your right a short distance afterwards. We will be arriving probably around 9:30AM/10AM depending on driving conditions. I had given us a good amount of time in case we get a straggler or run into some sort of traffic.

Once we all arrive to the last meeting location. We will all head to Toyota of Olympia 2225 Carriage Dr SW, Olympia, WA 98502 at 11AM. We will arrive to the dealer ship at around 11:30ish We will have plenty of time to park and mingle and stuff once we are all settled.

Communication- We are still using voxer as a walkie talkie app. my user name is rchen3992 and my cell number is 5039295714. Text me before you call me. As I usually screen the calls. We will add everybody who wants into a group on the voxer app. At time of breaks/meet-ups.

UPDATE

So the official meeting location for everybody will be here

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ge...f2d92e802f6f96

Meeting at that location. Will be at 7:30 leaving at 8. Please plan accordingly. We will be traveling as a group. So let's try avoiding those free way pulls. I purpose using the app VOXER on smart phones to communicate for rest room breaks fill ups and what not. Once I figure out how to use the app. I will start sending invites out. Our cruise will be to location X to meet up with the guys up north and then head over to Toyota/scion.

UPDATE 2- After finding out the location of the Pre-Meet to meet up w/ the Washington guys. Time is still staying the same to meet at the Gee Creek rest area. It takes about an hour and a half to get there. Which gets us there about an hour early. I'm planning to give us that much extra time to in case we do need to stop or wait for others to catch up for what ever reason.

So of us guys further out WEST have decided to do a Pre-(Pre?) meet to meet up at the Pre-meet location. If you decide to come with please arrive at 6:45AM and we'll be leaving at 7:00AM. ADDRESS: 2055 NW Savier For what ever reason you guys need to reach me. My Number is 5039295714 I usually screen calls I don't know so just Text or leave a message If I don't answer.

This is here for the oregon guys to meet up and figure everything out and cruise up north.

Basically. I see us taking the straight forward route on i5 but I'm open to ideas.

If I can get likes on this post. @HATED1 and I can communicate with who's actually going.

Imo. I'd rather show them up and out do their 30. Let's show them what oregon has to offer.

I will update this post on routes and info as we move forward.

If I go I'll probably take an alternate route using 30 or 101, car is too loud, stiff, and nervous to slab it for 5 hours in a day.

thehapaone 04-06-2015 11:42 PM

Yeah driving 5 hours in a day will be a huge pain in the ass...but I'm willing to go none the less

stockysnail 04-07-2015 12:01 AM

I'm in for whatever.

FRS-cotty 04-07-2015 12:31 AM

I'm in. I'll talk to Cody, Andy and my friend Jimmy who for some reason aren't on the forum yet.

Jonesy86 04-07-2015 12:36 AM

Little over 2 hours there, little over 2 hours back. I guess that makes it closer to 4.5 assuming no traffic or construction.
