Anyone buy this?

http://www.baysonr.com/12_14_Subaru_...rz126a5a5a.htm Anyone have experience with this lip kit?

Haven't bought it myself personally (yet) but I've seen a lot of people on here saying they're respectable. I'm personally looking at getting the items myself. However, I'd recommend looking at the individual parts on ebay, you might find them for cheaper.

I have just the front lip from bayson r. Its pretty good for the money. I sanded it myself and sprayed it with a vinyl paint for a more...finished look. Plus if you break just the lip, its not a huge loss like an authentic piece.

How easy is it to put on? I don't have many tools

BRZ RN 04-07-2015 04:32 PM

You need to jack your car, drill the bumper a heat gun to soften the lip kit if its polyurwthane material. If you get lucky with the fitment then its worth it. If its sh!t like what they shipped to ne, $80 go to trash, they reply like a few times to my email and they havent answered the last one. I was askig for a replacement but i got nothing. Now im trying jon motoring if it's any good.

I have them, nice fitment a little loose but overall easy install with some brackets. I have an entire bayson r kit and it all works great.

I installed the side skirts and front lip just fine. Took me about an hour in total.

The only thing I would recommend is buying a stronger double sided tape for the side skirts.

Mikebrz 04-07-2015 09:59 PM

If I use a double sided tape I wont have to drill right?

I'd recommend drilling, double sided tape can only hold it up for so long.

Like 90% of people with lip kits have this kit...why not 1 more...

The side skirts were very nice and fit very good. The lip was junk, warped bad, I sent it back.
