I'm a little neg. On price. I'll just have to pay out of pocket. I just don't have much.

If it's still available in a few weeks I'll contact you to work something out.

What tint% are the windows?

Free bump

Ok. They are about 20%. Not exactly legal...

Liltuffgirl 04-15-2015 11:55 PM

Bump.
Work situation isn't going as planned. Really need to move this before I'm totally screwed. I wish I could work on the price more but $21k is as low as I can go. I honestly don't have the money. Hell my roof on my house started leaking and I can't even fix it.

Sorry for your situation but it seems you're in a bit of a predicament with the payoff on the car. 2013's with your mileage are in the upper teens now. If you are really needing something soon you could try a few local dealerships and see what you can get for trade-in. I think CarMax does full buys without even buying one of their cars. It won't get you the most money, but definitely the quickest.

Liltuffgirl 04-16-2015 02:05 PM

No Carmax around here and I need payoff. I don't have the money to make up the difference.

Having you tried getting the guaranteed trade-in value from Subaru? You might be able to leverage that to get the best price if you sell to a dealer. Also, you may want to advertise the car in Northern Virginia on Autotrader or something to get more exposure and be willing to take a trip.

Your only other option would be to work with the lender and come up with a plan.

I called my credit union and they said all I can do is just be late on one payment then catch up when I get the money flowing again. That'll hurt my credit and honestly it's not worth it.

I have a older Jeep Liberty I've been driving since my tags are dead because I can't pay my property taxes right now... And I take my dog to training once or twice a week and he doesn't fit in the Subaru lol

I went from a $34k a year job and a part time job to just the part time job. Boss at the part time job made shifts for me and now I'm in a full time spot but can't get full time pay until the girl they fired gets to rant to the county about being fired. So I'm making $11 and hour one job when I've built my life on the other pay.
Already have my house payment deferred for 3 months.. Been paying utilities a little at a time. Reduced the cell phone bill and don't have wifi.

sadly in my actual line of work no one will be hiring until the new budget which will be July. And things have been crap for me since January so my savings is gone.

I'm just doing all I can to keep afloat. I'm all about helping others but at this point I'm just trying my damnedest to not lose everything.

Growing up is fun!! .......
All my friends love my car but no one can afford it. Blows.

Damn I wish I could help you.

Dunno how you survive...I'm at 45k right now and I don't think I could afford to move out of my parents' place without a roommate or a raise...

Bad decision to buy a car when you don't have the money to back it up. This is the problem with america, almost living from paycheck to paycheck relying on your current job to payoff a loan. Look what happens when you get fired. Gl! Hope everything works out and I would advise you not to do this again.

Ps I traded my 2013 brz limited wrb 48k miles for almost 20k for a 2016 Mazda 6 gt. So you could probably get a better deal than me with lower milage.

Kind of an unnecessary ****ish statement. That's why people get loans. Because they can't buy outright.

Obviously no one plans to be fired.

Yeah real ****ish submission.

Shenks 04-17-2015 12:22 PM

That is the truth, I get a loan only because I don't want to drop the full amount on the car. You should have money money to cover half the cost of the car before you actually pull the trigger. Why do you think america is in a shit situation now? Because no one buys shit they can afford? Of course no one wants or plans to be fired, but shit happens, if you're not prepared then you're screwed.

I can agree with the logic behind all of that.

But popping into someones FS thread to point out their errors that they're already painfully well aware of is a d!ck move.
