Window Factory tint peeling?
 

Anyone have this issue? Passenger side is peeling... Barely driven 4x's!

Going to dealer tomorrow, hope they have something to say about this.

Factory windows are not tinted with film. It is the dealer installed tint that is peeling.

There is no factory tint...

while there isn't exactly "factory" tint, it is installed by major distributors. According to a sticker on my window, mine was installed by Southeast Toyota or something like that.

My tint was installed by Toyota as part of my package. I have a series 10 model. Cause my tint was installed as part of an advertised package I would classify my tint as "Factory" as it is part of the OEM package. I know it was prob not installed in Japan, and was prob installed by Toyota southeast in the US.

I think Packofcrows shares this same mind set in regards to his tint.

My tint was installed at time of purchase but it was done elsewhere. Just because the dealer had it put one does not make it an official option. I did get a lifetime warranty from the place that installed it though so check your paperwork and see if you have something similar.
